The interiors of buildings that fall under the protection of state heritage protection are usually of a more modest character - this is the case with the Prague law office located in Karlín, where the floor coverings were completely replaced.
The law firm Hartmann, Jelínek, Fráňa and Partners is located in the house U Červené hvězdy, built in the middle of the 19th century in the classicist style by the Order of the Cross. Not only because of its historical value, the interiors are therefore conceived in a design that does not follow fashion trends and strives rather for a timeless approach.
The colour range of the floors and walls is between white and grey, with mostly light or medium-dark wood as an accent.
For all rooms and corridors, the Contract carpet from the German manufacturer Object Carpet was chosen. It is an extremely durable cut pile carpet that features a subtle pearlescent sheen with an elegant touch. The Antron polyamide fibre from which it is made is of high quality and contains no bitumens, latex or PVC. Contract carpet is therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers.
The dark grey shade is ideal for the chosen space, while for white walls the edges have been finished with black trims, which create a pleasant contrast between the two colours.
In addition, the selected Contract carpet is easy to maintain and highly resistant to dirt, which is always a valued advantage in commercial spaces.
Before the actual installation of the carpet, the original floor covering had to be removed - in this case it was an old, worn-out carpet, which we ecologicaly disposed. Only then could the actual installation take place by gluing the carpet rolls.
