Runners

Runners are a specific category of rugs that rightly deserve their own subcategory. Although everyone will primarily use them to equip hotel corridors or staircases in palaces, their use is in fact much broader than it might seem.

In addition to stairs and corridors, runners can be used to create walkways or highlight certain areas in common rooms, for example. Relatively well-known uses are also classic "red" carpets used for festive occasions, or runners installed at fashion shows and other events.

Natural sisal runners

One of the most common materials for the production of runners is sisal. This natural fibre made of sisal agave leaves contributes to the excellent acoustic properties of the runners, which absorb sound well and have a high resistance to fire. There is a broad selection of colours and patterns. The photos below are just a small presentation of samples of sisal runners from our showroom.

Axminster carpets are renowned for their high comfort and durability. They are often an ideal choice for hotels, restaurants and luxury office spaces. We can also make them in the form of runners for corridors and stairs, they can have a pattern either according to your choice, or we can have a completely individual design drawn up.

Classic runners

If you are looking for traditional runners made of a material other than sisal, the choice is huge. You can choose a material from our standard assortment, or we can create a design pattern according to your wishes together, which can be printed or woven directly during production.

Customised dimensions and edges

The runners we offer can have an individual width and length depending on the space they are intended for. You can also choose the edge ends – bending to the reverse side, sewing with different colours or ending with a border. The border is actually a strip of fabric sewn to the edge of the carpet – it can be different widths, made of different materials and different colours. The runner can have completely inconspicuous edges or, on the contrary, a distinctive border matching its own colour, it just depends on your intention.

We also offer installation – we can handle any complex staircase, we provide carpet rods of your choice and we assemble everything so that the final impression is the best possible.
